Michael Heath and Maryland Jersey Cattle Club President Kathy Albaugh.

Michael Heath received the Herbert Hoops Senior Trophy for his service to the Maryland Jersey Cattle Club. He was honored with the award at the club's annual meeting in March.

The herd was appraised in October 2011. Spring Valley Farm is now home to 16 Excellent and 44 Very Good cows and has an average appraisal of 87%. We have two new Excellents and seven first-calf heifers appraised Very Good-86% or higher, including South Haven Gov Rose at Very Good-88%.
