days of the year is appraisal day. Our
last herd appraisal was in September 2007. The appraiser scored seven new Excellents, including including Senn-Sational Kent
Elisha, now E-91%.
We now have 22 first-lactation
heifers that are appraised Very Good-88% or higher, including four
appraised Excellent-90%.
The herd
includes 80 Excellent and 298 Very Good cows and the appraisal average is 83.96%.
Ten cows are scored 93 points or more, including our highest-appraised
cow, Pine Creek Grove Jane, E-95%.
