With the January
genetic evaluations, 10 members of the Senn-Sational Jersey herd
are ranked on the Top 1 1/2% List.

Paramount Ace is now ranked #47 on the list of Active A.I. Sires,
with a JPI of +159 and a PTAT of +1.7.

We exhibited three
individuals to top-10 placings at The All American Jersey Show this past
November. In this group was
Senn-Sational
Blair Kibble, 3rd
place intermediate heifer calf. "Kibble" also was Junior Champion of the
South Carolina and North Carolina State Fairs.

Appraisal |
The
September
appraisal was a good day for us, with seven new Excellents, including
Senn-Sational Kent
Elisha, now E-91
We now
have 22 first-lactation
heifers that are scored Very Good-88% or higher, including four that
are Excellent-90%.

Carolina Records |
Two herd members
earned recognitions at the annual meeting of the South Carolina
Jersey Cattle Association in Laurens this past January.
Senn-Sational Geronimo Pat
produced the high milk record (2X ME basis) in 2006 among cows
24-29 months-of-age and
Senn-Sational Pitino Bonnibell
was tops
among cows 60 months and over. "Pat" produced a 2-1 record with an
m.e. of 29,521 lbs. milk and "Bonnibell" produced a 5-7 record
with an m.e. of 27,252 lbs. milk. |
