NAtional production laurels...

Congratulations to the New York herds that rank nationally for milk, fat and protein production.

Matthew M. Terry of Franklin ranks ninth in the nation for protein with a 2015 lactation average of 22,946M, 1,132F and 863P on 48 cows.

Five other herds rank among the top 10 in the nation among their peers with similar-sized herds (Domino Farms, Accord; Den Kel Jerseys LLC, Byron; Kevin and Annetta Herrington, Dansville; Merle Lawton, Newark Valley; and Brian J. and Tracey A. Poole, Orinskany Falls).
