Juniors under the age of 20 are eligible for junior membership in the New York Jersey Cattle Club. Membership is free.

In January, they gather for their annual meeting, which is held in conjunction with the adult club's annual meeting at the New York All Breeds Convention. Juniors earn laurels in a state-wide production contest and a youth achievement contest. Scholarships are also given. A Jersey queen is crowned at the annual meeting or the summer picnic.
